The incumbent will be responsible for managing and supporting IT department initiatives. Responsibilities for this position include: diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems, resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues.
What You’ll Do
- Installing and configuring client computer systems and assisting with day-to-day IT operations.
- Responding to client IT support requests.
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Maintain and upgrade existing IT infrastructure
- Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Configure and manage network devices.
- Monitor system usage and network traffic.
- Create and manage virtual machines.
- Maintaining user rights on a network shared folder.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Maintain Physical connectivity LAN and Wireless Connectivity WAN.
What You’ll Need
- BS degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 0-1 years of relevant experience
- Microsoft MCSA and Cisco CCNA certification will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Server operating systems, network devices, and virtual machines.
- Good knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Domain controller.
- Aware of server operating system installations, Basic Backup task.
- Good to have knowledge of Hyper-V, Backups, antivirus, O365 management.
- An opportunity to get an experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. Also, learning opportunity for Virtualization and Hardware Firewalls
